With a new coaching staff, including defensive coordinator Dennard Wilson, Safety Amani Hooker is still adapting to a new defensive scheme along with his less experienced teammates. Despite this, Hooker has noticed a key difference from the team’s past approach – it’s a lot more aggressive now. He mentioned that the coaches are doing a good job teaching when to be aggressive and when not to be.
The Titans have made some additions to their defense this offseason, bringing in cornerbacks L’Jarius Sneed and Chidobe Awuzie. The experience these players bring to the secondary is expected to contribute to the team’s aggressive playing style. The hope is that this aggressiveness will lead to more turnovers and better field position, ultimately setting the stage for improved offensive results as well.
