New Executive Director, Jennifer Evans, Takes the Reins at the Evansville Museum of Arts, History & Science

Evansville Museum of Arts, History & Science Welcomes New Leader

The Evansville Museum of Arts, History & Science has named Jennifer Evans as its new executive director. With a background in not-for-profit management, development, fundraising, and public service administration, Evans is well-equipped to lead the museum to even greater success.

According to Stephanie Engelbrecht, chair of the museum’s search committee, the board of trustees and staff are excited to welcome Jennifer and are confident that she will be an excellent fit for the role.

Adam Borgman, president of the museum’s board of trustees, stated that during a critical and exciting time in the museum’s history, it was important to identify a new leader who could build upon the success created by outgoing Executive Director Mary McNamee Bower. They see Jennifer as a local leader who will bring her community connections, business acumen, and leadership qualities to the museum.

Jennifer Evans will assume her new role as executive director on July 22nd. This appointment marks an important change in leadership for the Evansville Museum of Arts, History & Science.
