New Leadership at Opelousas General Health System and Acadian Companies’ Employee of the Year Awards Announced

Acadian Companies Recognizes Dedicated Employees

Jim Juneau has been named as the executive vice president of business strategy and finance at Opelousas General Health System (OGHS). He was previously the chief financial officer of OGHS for 14 years, joining the organization in 2007 as a controller. With over 40 years of experience in health care, Juneau started his career in the industry in 1978 at Rapides Regional Medical Center. He is a graduate of Louisiana College and has made significant contributions to the field throughout his career.

In other news, Kordel Andrews has been awarded support employee of the year by Acadian Companies. Andrews is a fleet maintenance technician who joined Acadian in 2020 and is based out of the New Orleans office. His responsibilities include inspecting and repairing company vehicles, performing preventive maintenance on ambulances, and conducting mechanical and electrical repairs as necessary. Acadian’s support departments cater to its seven divisions, with employees from various fields such as client services, accounting, payroll, electronics, facility maintenance, fleet management, information technology, and others being considered for the award.

Gabe Armand has also been recognized as the 2024 Employee of the Year at Acadian Companies’ Safety Management Systems (SMS). Armand is a safety specialist who joined SMS through the Attract, Recruit, and Deploy program aimed at training new safety professionals. SMS offers services to energy and industrial construction sectors.
