Bromley has recently made history by being promoted to the English Football League for the first time in their 132-year history. They are gearing up for the upcoming League Two season, with their first match scheduled away at Harrogate on August 10th. As part of their preparations, they have signed forward Marcus Dinanga from Gateshead for an undisclosed fee.
Dinanga, a 27-year-old who previously played for Gateshead, has an impressive record, scoring 39 goals in just 63 games. He initially joined Gateshead on loan from Altrincham in January 2023 before signing permanently with the club later that year. His professional career began at Burton Albion, where he spent time on loan at Telford and Hartlepool before joining Telford permanently in January 2019. Over the next seven years, he went on to play for Stevenage, Chesterfield, Kidderminster and Dartford.
The exact length of Dinanga’s contract with Bromley has not been disclosed, but his experience and goal-scoring abilities are sure to be valuable assets to the team as they embark on their EFL journey. This move marks his third signing of the summer for the Lillywhites as they prepare to compete in the Football League Two next season.
