Newly Signed Katie Wilkinson Joins Rangers with a Proven Track Record and a Passion to Succeed

Rangers complete signing of Southampton striker Wilkinson

The 29-year-old striker, Katie Wilkinson, has signed a two-year deal with Rangers from Southampton. Wilkinson was the top scorer for Southampton last season, scoring 10 goals in just 22 appearances and was even nominated for the English Championship player of the season award.

Throughout her impressive career, Wilkinson has played for several clubs including Birmingham City, Aston Villa, London Bees, Sheffield United, and Coventry before joining Rangers. In total, she has scored an impressive 80 goals in just 172 games.

Wilkinson made her WSL debut at the young age of 17 and has been known for her goal-scoring prowess ever since. When asked about her decision to join Rangers, Wilkinson expressed her excitement about the club’s ambition and expressed her desire to contribute to their success on the field.

Rangers head coach Jo Potter is thrilled to have Wilkinson on board as she believes she brings great pedigree and a hunger to improve to the team. Potter previously worked with Wilkinson at Coventry and is confident that she will be able to make a significant impact at Rangers.
