In recent years, Ohio State football has had great success on the recruiting trail, especially in its home state of Ohio. However, the team recently made an unexpected move by offering a scholarship to Jude Cascone, an unranked tight end from Georgia in the class of 2026.
Cascone caught the attention of Ohio State coaches during a camp and received an offer in person. Despite being unranked, Cascone has shown potential to climb up the rankings quickly. As a freshman, he played on the defensive side of the ball but is still learning the tight end position. Standing at 6-feet, 2-inches and weighing 190 pounds, Cascone has room to grow and could be a good fit as an H-Back style receiver or move tight end.
Cascone’s offer from Georgia earlier in the off-season shows that he has attracted attention from top programs. With his raw talent and potential, Cascone is a player to watch as he continues to develop his skills and abilities in the coming years.
