OSU Softball Dominates Arizona to Secure Spot in Women’s College World Series

On Saturday, Oklahoma State secured their spot in the Women’s College World Series after defeating Arizona in the Super Regional. With a 10-4 victory, the Cowgirls remained undefeated in the NCAA Tournament, sweeping Arizona in the process.

In the opening game of the series on Friday, Lexi Kilfoyl led the Cowgirls to an 8-0 victory over Arizona with a dominant pitching performance. Kilfoyl shut out the Wildcats over five innings, allowing only three hits and striking out three batters. The Cowgirls’ offense also came alive in the fourth inning, scoring five runs to secure the win.

Tallen Edwards’ two-run homer gave OSU an early lead in the first inning of Saturday’s game against Arizona, but Arizona responded with a run of their own.
