In a message of congratulations, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan expressed his warmest wishes to President Joe Biden on the occasion of Independence Day in the United States. Pashinyan highlighted the universal values of freedom, justice, and democracy that were instrumental in the formation of the United States and continue to serve as an inspiration around the world.
Pashinyan lauded the ideas enshrined in the Declaration of Independence and their lasting impact. Additionally, he emphasized Armenia’s support for the United States’ role in promoting peace in the region and expressed deep gratitude for the country’s assistance in maintaining Armenia’s sovereignty, independence, democracy, territorial integrity, and border security as outlined in the 1991 Alma-Ata Declaration. The Prime Minister reiterated Armenia’s commitment to pursuing a peaceful agenda and fostering strong bilateral relations with Washington.
Pashinyan expressed confidence that continued partnership between Yerevan and Washington would contribute to a peaceful and prosperous future for both nations and the region as America celebrates its 248th anniversary of independence.
