The STEP Program is hosting its annual keynote address on Thursday, April 11, from 4-5:30 p.m. This year’s speaker is Roger Pielke Jr., a well-known advocate for research policymaking. The event will be held virtually, with a watch party at 311 Latham Hall where light snacks will be provided. Additionally, a Zoom option is available for those who cannot attend in person, and registration is required to participate.
The STEP Program aims to bring together professionals from various fields to discuss the intersection of science, technology, engineering, and policy in order to promote informed decision-making and drive positive change in society. More information about the STEP Program can be found on their website.
The event is sponsored by the +Policy Network and co-sponsored by the School of Public and International Affairs and the Department of Political Science. If you require accommodations due to a disability, please reach out to Todd Schenk at tschenk@vt.edu at least 10 business days before the event during regular business hours.
