On the weekend, Snoop Dogg made a guest appearance at a Cincinnati Reds vs. Milwaukee Brewers game, adding an exciting twist to the game with his unique voice and enthusiastic commentary. He threw the first pitch, met with the home team in the clubhouse and joined Brian Anderson and Bill Schroeder in the Bally Sports Wisconsin booth.
During the game, Brewers second baseman Brice Turang hit a grounder that seemed like it could be an infield single. However, Reds shortstop Elly De La Cruz made an amazing sidearm throw to get him out. Snoop Dogg was impressed by De La Cruz’s arm strength and couldn’t contain his excitement as he watched the play unfold.
Elly De La Cruz has shown great potential with his speed and impressive arm strength since making his MLB debut last year. He currently leads MLB in stolen bases and continues to impress fans with his skills on the field. Snoop Dogg stayed for the third inning and even offered some coaching tips to Brewers star Christian Yelich during the game.
The Brewers ended up winning 3-1 thanks to a three-run homer by Joey Ortiz. Snoop Dogg’s genuine enthusiasm and love for baseball added a unique flavor to the broadcast, leaving fans entertained. It will be interesting to see if he gets another opportunity to provide baseball commentary in the future.
