The Village of Forsyth is excited to announce the beginning of phase one of their new Sports and Nature Park. Located just north of Highway 20, adjacent to the new Shadow Ridge subdivision, the park will feature over 10 acres of open space, a five-acre fishing pond, and two ADA-accessible fishing piers.
One of the key features of the park is the nearly 5,000-foot walking trail connected to an existing walking and biking trail. This will provide visitors with ample opportunities for exercise and outdoor exploration.
During construction, a broken field title was discovered in the area. To enhance drainage, village officials have decided to fix it. Once the plans are finalized, they will be shared with the public so that everyone can enjoy this new addition to their community.
