On the Fourth of July, New York City spectators were in awe of a stunning drone display that formed the Statue of Liberty. The patriotic show was a highlight of the celebrations honoring the country’s independence.

This year, Collier County’s Fourth of July celebrations will feature a unique twist with one of the county’s first large-scale drone shows. Taking place at the Paradise Coast Sports Complex from 6 to 11 p.m. on Saturday, July 6, the event will offer a variety of family-friendly activities such as bounce houses, remote control cars, laser tag, face painting, and live music.

The main attraction of the event will be the drone show, which is set to begin at 9 p.m. and last for about 15 minutes. Organized by Sky Elements, a company known for their drone content creation and advertising, the show will feature 300 drones displaying images with Independence Day themes like the American flag, fireworks, and eagles. Additionally, there will be images related to paradise and sports.

Marissa Baker, the regional manager of Paradise Coast, explained that drone shows offer a more environmentally friendly alternative to traditional fireworks as well as a greater range of creative possibilities. The use of drones allows for intricate patterns
