In a recent promotion, Zachary Dutton has been appointed as the Vice President of Defense Technology at RTX. This is an exciting new opportunity for him, as he moves up from his previous role as Business Lead of Physical Sciences and Systems at RTX’s BBN Technologies business.

Dutton has been with the company since 2007 when it was known as Raytheon BBN Technologies. In this time, he has focused on quantum information technology, which has given him valuable experience in defense technology and quantum information technology. In January 2018, Dutton was promoted to Business Lead, and now he is taking on a new challenge as Vice President of Defense Technology at RTX.

In his new role, Dutton will work alongside Scott Kaslusky to develop technical strategies for RTX’s subsidiaries, including Raytheon, Collins Aerospace, and Pratt & Whitney. His expertise in defense technology and quantum information technology will be crucial in helping the company succeed in this area.
