Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math Extravaganza: Emily’s Wonder Lab Host to Keynote College of DuPage’s STEMCON Event

Discover the world of STEM at College of DuPage’s STEMCON event on April 27th

Emily Calandrelli, the host of the popular Netflix series “Emily’s Wonder Lab,” has been announced as the keynote speaker for College of DuPage’s STEMCON event on Saturday, April 27. STEMCON is an annual event that focuses on science, technology, engineering, and math, and it will be held at COD’s Physical Education Center in Glen Ellyn. The event is free and open to the public, running from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Visitors will have the opportunity to engage in hands-on activities at both indoor and outdoor interactive exhibits, including model rockets, composting activities, telescopes, and more.

STEMCON is a great opportunity to see STEM activities in action, with exhibitions run by actual researchers, industry representatives, and STEM educators. In addition to the interactive exhibits, attendees can look forward to a keynote discussion by Emily Calandrelli at 12:30 p.m. in the McAninch Arts Center’s Belushi Performance Hall. Following her keynote presentation, there will be a demonstration from Mr. Freeze of Fermilab at 3 p.m. on the MAC stage, showcasing the properties of cryogenics using liquid nitrogen.
