Senator Ernst presents Ida Grove company with “Small Business of the Week” award

Senator Joni Ernst visited Ida Grove on Wednesday to recognize a small business for its outstanding work. Hawkeye Fabrication was the recipient of the “Small Business of the Week” award, an honor recognized by the United States Senate. The Bogue family has owned and operated this third-generation business specializing in steel fabrication for bridges and highways in Iowa and the Midwest since 1998.

During her visit, Senator Ernst emphasized the importance of recognizing small businesses in all 99 counties and praised the hard work and dedication of Iowans. She expressed her appreciation for family-owned businesses in Iowa, which she believes are crucial to the state’s economy. As she toured Hawkeye Fabrication and met with employees, Senator Ernst listened to their concerns and priorities.
