On Friday, April 12, the Orlando Science Center will host the 2024 Pride Prom, an event specifically for LGBTQIA individuals over the age of 21. The theme of the event is “Be Your Brightest Self,” and attendees are encouraged to dress in neon colors and glow-in-the-dark attire. This evening promises to be a night full of fun, music, entertainment, and community.
The 2024 Pride Prom will feature DJ Blue Star providing music for guests to enjoy while Raspberry Pie will entertain with live performances. Classic prom activities such as the crowning of the Royal Court, which will be officiated by Sondra Rae from “Johnny’s House” on XL106.7 and Pride Radio, will also take place. Guests can get their photos taken in a photobooth presented by Firefly and indulge in snacks from Cuisiniers Catering while enjoying free frozen custard from Shake Shack.
For those who want more exclusive experiences, VIP lounge tickets are available that include meet-and-greet opportunities with performers Rae and Gabe Pabon, a trans activist and reality star from 90 Day Fiancé. Additionally, a Quiet Corner presented by Canine Companions will be available for those who just want to relax and cuddle a puppy.
