Despite not offering any public explanation for her hospitalization, Beckinsale shared posts in mid-March honoring her late father and stepfather while continuing to post from the hospital. She also marked the Easter holiday with a festive photo of herself in the hospital wearing themed socks.

However, the cryptic activity on Beckinsale’s social media accounts has caused concern among her fans, who have been questioning her well-being. She first raised worries about her health with emotional photos from the hospital and a mention of being sick in an Instagram post on March 11.

In a later post on April 4, Beckinsale uploaded photos from her hospital bed with her friend Jonathan Voluck visiting her. Although she has denied being treated for a ruptured cyst or endometriosis, Beckinsale has not specified the reason for her hospital stay, dismissing speculation about a ruptured cyst that occurred in 2019.
