The 2024 RTIH Innovation Awards have now opened for entries. Sponsored by CADS, 3D Cloud and Retail Technology Show 2025, the awards highlight innovation in a fast-moving omnichannel world. This year’s event has introduced three new categories: AI Innovation, Sustainable Retail Innovation and Inclusive Technology Innovation.
Key dates for the 2024 RTIH Innovation Awards include Friday October 25th as the deadline for award entry submissions; Tuesday October 29th for the shortlist reveal; and Thursday November 21st for the winners announcement ceremony to be held at RIBA’s headquarters in Central London.
Slip recently secured £2.5 million in seed investment to help retailers digitize receipts. The round was led by Adjuvo and included participation from Haatch Ventures as well as Unbundled VC among other investors. Julian Burnett former CIO at Frasers Group and former CTO at John Lewis also participated in this round of funding. Slip’s software launched in 2022 has been utilized by retailers like JD Sports and Beyond Retro with its API able to integrate with existing systems providing insights from customer activity directly into partner CRMs or marketing technology stacks through partnerships with providers like Shopify, Klaviyo Epos Now and Sitoo.
