Southwest Airlines Introduces Efficient and Convenient Baggage Check-In at the Economy Garage at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport

The Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport has recently introduced a new service for Southwest Airlines customers: baggage check-in at the economy garage. This service is available from 4 a.m. to noon, and passengers are required to drop off their bags at least two hours before their flight.

The economy garage is located at 900 Airline Drive, just a 15-minute shuttle ride away from the airport. It’s open 24/7 and provides 2,438 parking spaces for travelers. As of 10:10 a.m. on Friday, only 111 spaces were available in the garage, as all other parking lots were fully booked during the busy Fourth of July holiday weekend, according to the airport’s website. With this new option, Southwest Airlines customers can easily and efficiently check their bags before their flight without having to worry about finding parking space in other areas of the airport.
