The 17th annual Sports Business Awards are set to take place tonight at the Marriott Marquis Times Square in New York, with 90 nominees in 16 categories vying for recognition of excellence in the sports business world over the past year. One of the highlights of the evening will be the presentation of this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award to Arthur M. Blank, owner of the Falcons and Atlanta United. Additionally, the McLendon Foundation will be honored with the Celebration of Service Award.
The event will culminate with the presentation of the Executive of the Year award. The nominees for this prestigious award include Jessica Berman of the NWSL, Josh Harris of Commanders and Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment, Jorge Mas of Inter Miami CF, Rob Manfred of MLB, Mark Walter of the Dodgers and Guggenheim Partners, and Brett Yormark of Big 12.
