Spring sports are set to kick off in Michigan this week, weather permitting. The Jackson area will be hosting various games in baseball, softball, and soccer.
In baseball, matchups include Lansing Eastern vs Jackson at home field, Pennfield vs Homer away game, Western vs Napoleon at home field, Clinton vs Lumen Christi away game, Hillsdale vs Battle Creek Central at home field and Concord vs East Jackson away game.
Softball games feature Homer vs Pennfield at home field for Pennfield and Napoleon vs Western away game for Napoleon. East Jackson will face Concord in an away game, Olivet will play against Michigan Center at home field and Stockbridge will play against Dansville away game. Reading vs Addison is another matchup featuring softball games with Dundee playing against Manchester and Hanover-Horton facing Quincy. Additionally, Springport will play against East Jackson at home field and Milan’s Western team will face Adrian team in an away game.
Soccer matches include Pioneer playing against Jackson at home field for Pioneer while Northwest plays against Hanover-Horton away from home. Leslie’s team will play against Western in an away game and Quincy plays against Grass Lake at home field. Blissfield plays against Grass Lake in an away game while Jonesville plays against Hillsdale at their own stadiums. Eaton Rapids plays against Western in an away game while Lumen Christi plays against Clinton and Stockbridge plays
