Buttonwood Park Zoo’s Red Pandas Gaining Fame thanks to New Technology

Buttonwood Park Zoo in New Bedford has recently partnered with Micro Technology Solutions, Inc. to offer a live stream of its red panda exhibit, allowing visitors to watch the adorable creatures 24 hours a day. Red pandas are known for their cuteness and are classified as endangered, with their populations decreasing significantly over the years. However, efforts are being made to save the species, with 219 red pandas at 87 AZA accredited institutions worldwide.

In addition to the red pandas, Buttonwood Park Zoo has also welcomed a bearded emperor tamarin monkey in 2022. Described as one of the cutest monkeys, she is sure to be a hit with visitors.
