New Jersey Small Business Development Centers Network Introduces Veterans Launching Ventures Program

The New Jersey Small Business Development Centers Network has recently introduced a new program called Veterans Launching Ventures. Developed in collaboration with Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU) and Stockton University, this program is designed to support active-duty military personnel, veterans, and their families in starting or expanding a business. Thanks to the support of TD Foundation and Wells Fargo, the program will be offered free of charge.

Veterans Launching Ventures consists of four modules that include both on-demand and live virtual training courses, as well as professional consulting support and workshops. The first three modules offer nine self-paced on-demand classes focusing on entrepreneurship basics, idea generation, and feasibility testing. These modules, along with weekly live workshops, are now available for participants.

The fourth module is tailored for individuals who plan to open a business within the next six months. It includes a nine-week business planning course, access to resources, and personalized consulting. This module will start on Tuesday and will culminate with a business plan pitch competition on June 29.
