Milwaukee, Wisconsin was also highlighted in the ranking as the 15th-best skyline in the world. Its notable presence along Lake Michigan and iconic Milwaukee Art Museum made it a standout city in the Midwest.
In addition to Chicago and Milwaukee, American cities Manhattan and Seattle made it to the list, ranking first and fourteenth, respectively. The ranking criteria included questions about what makes a beautiful skyline – whether it is recognizable, harmonious, or has individually striking buildings.
