The Australian Academy of Science has enthusiastically supported the Prime Minister’s recent announcement of the government’s plans to introduce a Future Made in Australia Act. The President of the Academy, Professor Chennupati Jagadish, emphasized the critical role that Australian science plays in shaping the country’s future.
