Dallas police spokeswoman Kristin Lowman stated that the initial investigation revealed that drivers of a Chevrolet Corvette and a Lamborghini were speeding in the far left lane when they lost control. The Lamborghini hit the center median wall, leading to a chain reaction collision involving four other vehicles. While it is unclear whether Rice was present at the accident scene, it is not certain whether he will face charges as of Sunday morning; he was not listed in Dallas County jail records. Two drivers received minor medical attention at the scene while two others were taken to the hospital for minor injuries.
