The Pacers Face Tough Battle in Game 4 as Haliburton’s Availability Remains Uncertain

Kristaps Porzingis ruled out, Tyrese Haliburton’s status uncertain for Game 4 on Monday

In Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals, the Indiana Pacers face a tough challenge as point guard Tyrese Haliburton is officially listed as questionable due to a hamstring strain. This injury puts his availability for the game in doubt, with concerns about his effectiveness even if he does play. Haliburton is a key player for the Pacers and his absence could have a significant impact on their up-tempo offense.

During Game 3, Ben Sheppard started in place of Haliburton but failed to score. Most of the point guard duties were handled by T.J. McConnell, who put up an impressive performance with 23 points, nine rebounds, and six assists. The Pacers are hoping for Haliburton’s return in Game 4 to boost their chances of staying alive in the series.

On the other side, the Boston Celtics will be without center Kristaps Porzingis for Game 4 as he continues to recover from a strained calf that has kept him out for a month. Despite initially targeting this game for a return, Porzingis is not yet ready to hit the court. Al Horford will once again start in his absence, coming off a strong performance in Game 3 where he scored 23 points, making 7-of-12 three-pointers.

With a 3-0 series lead, the Celtics have the opportunity to close out the series on Monday and advance to the NBA Finals starting on June 6
