Sports Coverage on Bartlesville Radio

The Oklahoma City Thunder achieved their first playoff series win since 2016 by defeating the New Orleans Pelicans in the first round of the Western Conference postseason. Oklahoma City completed a sweep of New Orleans with a hard-fought victory on Monday night, winning 97-89.

Although OKC struggled to establish a lead and even faced a five-point deficit in the fourth quarter, clutch threes from Josh Giddey and Jalen Williams helped the Thunder secure the win. The final call on Monday night on KPGM reflected the intense competition.

J Dub and SGA led the way for the Thunder with a combined 24 points. Oklahoma City now has some time off before their next playoff series as they await the winner between the Dallas Mavericks and the LA Clippers. The series between Dallas and LA is currently tied at 2-2, with game five set to take place on Wednesday evening in LA.
