Titans Embrace Analytics with New Leadership, Hire Football Analysts

Report: Titans expand analytics department with addition of two new members

As a result of the Titans’ new leadership, the team is now fully embracing analytics. This was not an easy transition for former general manager Jon Robinson, who was slow to adopt this strategy. However, under the guidance of general manager Ran Carthon and president of football operations Chad Brinker, the Titans are making analytics a priority.

Brinker even developed his own model that he brought to Tennessee. The Titans demonstrated their commitment to analytics by hiring two football analysts, Erin Psajdl Davis and Alex Rogers, on Thursday. Psajdl Davis has experience as a data scientist with the Kansas City Chiefs and the Houston Texans, while Rogers has worked as an intern for the NBA’s Phoenix Suns.

Analytics have become an increasingly important tool in sports decision-making, and it’s clear that the Titans understand this. By focusing on analytics and using data to inform their decisions, they are positioning themselves for success both on and off the field.
