Travel and Leisure Recognizes New York Hotels as Among the Best in the World: Check out the List!

Two hotels in upstate New York have recently been recognized as some of the best in the world by Travel + Leisure. The magazine’s World’s Best Awards survey asked readers to vote on hotels based on various factors such as room quality, facilities, location, service, food, and value. The 500 hotels that received the highest scores are considered top destinations for travelers.

The Wylder Windham in the Catskills and Mirror Lake Inn Resort & Spa in Lake Placid were both included in the list of the 500 best hotels worldwide. Wylder Windham is located near popular attractions such as Windham Mountain and Windham Country Club. The 20-acre resort offers amenities such as pickleball courts, a heated pool, wood-fired saunas, and the Babblers Restaurant, with prices ranging between $250 to $499.

Mirror Lake Inn Resort & Spa in Lake Placid overlooks Mirror Lake and the Adirondack Mountains, placing guests in the heart of Olympic history. The 8-acre resort features a spa, fitness center, indoor and outdoor pools, and two on-site restaurants. Prices for rooms at Mirror Lake Inn Resort & Spa also fall within the $250 to $499 range.
