In Oman, the Trump Organization and Dar Global have also announced a similar deal for a $500 million Trump International hotel complex. Although developers have the license to use the Trump branding, the Trump International Oman project is not owned by the Trump Organization. The partnership between these two companies will result in the development of luxurious properties in both countries, appealing to high-end clientele.
Ziad El Chaar, CEO of Dar Global, expressed excitement about this agreement, stating that it will attract more international investors and vacationers to the region. He believes that this collaboration will elevate standards of luxury living in Saudi Arabia and set it apart from neighboring Dubai by initiating various luxury projects.
Saudia Arabia’s efforts to appeal to the luxury international market are evident through its ongoing development of resorts along the Red Sea. Sindalah, one of these island resorts geared towards luxury clientele, is expected to open by the end of this year.
