UA Wildcats Players Earn All-American Honors for Second Year Running

Athlon Sports names 4 Arizona Wildcats football players as preseason All-Americans

Arizona Wildcats players have received preseason All-American recognition from Athlon Sports. Wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan was named to the 1st Team All-America squad, while cornerback Tacario Davis made the 3rd Team. Linebacker Jacob Manu and offensive lineman Jonah Savaiinaea also made the 4th Team.

This marks the second time that these players have been recognized for their exceptional talent, having previously been honored by Phil Steele Magazine as well. McMillan was a 1st Team choice in that publication, with Davis and Manu making the 3rd Team. Additionally, all four UA players are part of Athlon’s preseason 1st Team All-Big 12 squad, highlighting the team’s strength and potential heading into the upcoming season.

Overall, Arizona boasts an impressive roster of standout players, including quarterback Noah Fifita, offensive lineman Josh Baker, and defensive end Tre Smith on the 3rd Team, as well as running back Jacory Croskey-Merritt, offensive lineman Wendell Moe and defensive back Gunner Maldonado on the 4th team.
