Union-Endicott High School Technology Department Receives Prestigious Program of Excellence Award

Union-Endicott High School’s technology department honored with Program of Excellence Award

The technology department at Union-Endicott High School has been recognized with the New York State Technology Education & Engineering Association Program of Excellence Award. This prestigious recognition was a result of hard work and dedication put into the program by teachers Corey Munn, Mike Wichowski, and Tom Palazzo.

Nominated by the Southern Tier Technology & Engineering Educators Association, the team accepted the award at the NYSTEA annual conference. The department offers a variety of programs including welding, automotive, flight simulation, and carpentry, and has experienced significant growth in enrollment over the past few years.

Engineering Teacher Corey Munn expressed his gratitude for the award, stating that it is a great honor to be recognized by his peers for his efforts. The Program of Excellence Award is one of the highest honors given by the New York State Technology & Engineering Educators Association. As a result of this recognition, Union-Endicott High School will be representing New York State for the International Technology Educators & Engineering Association’s Program of Excellence Award.
