The UNM Anderson School’s sales students, Eddie Acosta, Andrew Salazar, and AJ Dille, recently placed second, fourth, and fifth in the virtual RNMRKS international role-play sales competition held on April 10-11. With over 1,000 participants from 47 universities worldwide, this competition is known to be the world’s largest sales competition.
The trio received scores of 9,589 points, 9,571 points and 9,542 points respectively. This success is a testament to the talent being nurtured in the Anderson School’s sales program as noted by Associate Professor Dimitri Kapelianis, director of the UNM Sales and Business Development Center. The continued excellence of Anderson students in this competition highlights the depth of sales talent being cultivated at the institution.
Participation in the RNMKRS competition provides students with real-time practice in essential selling steps such as introduction, discovery, presentation, objections and concerns
