West Georgia Technical College Welcomes Lucinda Montgomery: Expertise in Logistics and Supply Chain Management

West Georgia Technical College Appoints Lucinda Montgomery as Dean of Trade and Technology

West Georgia Technical College (WGTC) welcomes Lucinda Montgomery as its new Dean for the School of Trade and Technology. Montgomery has extensive experience in logistics and supply chain management, having previously served as Associate Dean of Trade and Technology at WGTC and an Associate Professor of Logistics and Supply Chain Management at Georgia Highlands College. In her new role, she brings a wealth of knowledge to the school.

Montgomery has a Master of Science in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration at Georgia State University. She also has 20 years of experience in the Air Force, where she worked on various logistics operations. Before joining WGTC, Montgomery taught courses in the Bachelor of Business Administration pathway at Georgia Highlands College and worked as a Quality Matters peer reviewer to ensure course accessibility for online learners.

Kristen Buoy, Vice President of Academic Affairs, expressed excitement about working with Montgomery and the positive impact her leadership will bring to the school. “Lucinda’s experience in logistics and supply chain management makes her an excellent fit for this role,” said Buoy. “We are thrilled to have someone with such expertise leading our School of Trade and Technology.”
