Iconic musician cancels concerts in preparation for upcoming Mass. performance due to health concerns

On Sunday, Willie Nelson’s representative reassured fans that he will be fine and ready to perform at his upcoming shows on the East Coast. The country music legend had to cancel several upcoming concert appearances due to a health issue, but he is expected to make a quick recovery and rejoin the Outlaw Music Festival tour next week.

Nelson is scheduled to be back on stage for his June 26 show in Virginia Beach, Virginia. One of the tour stops includes the Xfinity Center in Mansfield on Tuesday, July 2, where Nelson will be joined by Bob Dylan, Robert Plant & Alison Krauss, Celisse, and more.
