Recently, on the podcast episode of the “Baseball Bar-B-Cast,” Yahoo Sports senior MLB analysts Jordan Shusterman and Jake Mintz discussed the New York Yankees’ disappointing performance against the Cincinnati Reds at home. During their conversation, they highlighted the struggles of the Yankees and dissected their loss to the Reds.
The analysts joked about the polarizing nature of the Yankees’ fan base, with half of America rooting for them and the other half reveling in their struggles. They also compared the Yankees to the Reds in terms of trying to adopt the moniker of “America’s Team.”
