ATARASHII GAKKO! is set to release their third full-length album AG! through their U.S. label 88rising on June 7. This album marks the group’s first full-length release in five years, following their last album Wakage ga itaru. The alternative Japanese girl group made their global debut under 88rising in 2021 and will be embarking on a World Tour to promote their new album.
The tour will kick off with World Tour Part I in June at Primavera Sound 2024 in Madrid, with performances across Europe and Asia. Following that, World Tour Part II will begin in September with shows in North America. Tickets for the tour dates will be available for pre-sale starting at 10:00 a.m. on May 9 in each city, with general sales beginning at 10:00 a.m. on May 10.
ATARASHII GAKKO!’s World Tour Part II will take them to cities like Vancouver, San Francisco, Chicago, and Dallas, providing fans in North America with the opportunity to experience their music live. The group’s blend of sounds and captivating stage presence promises an unforgettable concert experience for their fans around the world.
Some of the tracks that have gained attention from their performances at events like Coachella and as the theme song for a Netflix movie will be included in this album such as “Tokyo Calling” and “Fly High”.
