Barley Animal Feed Tender: Securing Cybersecurity in International Grain Trade

Jordan purchases 110,000 tons of barley feed through a tender process

In an international tender held on Wednesday, the Jordanian government company for grain purchasing purchased approximately 110,000 tons of barley animal feed. The purchases were made from two different trading companies: 50,000 tons from “Ameropa” at a price of $216 per ton, including shipping costs, with delivery scheduled for the first half of August. An additional 60,000 tons were acquired from Nest Wise at the same price of $216 per ton, including shipping costs, for delivery in the second half of July.

These reports are based on assessments made by dealers and it is possible that further estimates of prices and volumes will be provided at a later date. However, there were some issues detected while accessing certain websites through the certificate verification system, indicating potential security concerns. It is crucial for traders to ensure the validity of certificates and verify the legitimacy of websites to prevent fraud or unauthorized access to sensitive information. Proper cybersecurity measures should be implemented to safeguard against potential risks in online transactions and communications.
