The weekend weather forecast is expected to be warm and sunny in the Tri-Cities area. On Saturday night, lows will range from 43-46 degrees with a southwest wind of 5-10 mph. Sunday will bring a mix of clouds and sun, with warmer temperatures reaching highs of 72-78 degrees. Breezy conditions are expected, especially in the afternoon, with a southwest wind of 10-20 mph and higher gusts.

Residents in Smyth County, Virginia, and the western mountain counties of North Carolina should be aware of wind advisories in place until this evening, with gusts up to 50 mph. Despite the gusty conditions, Sunday will be warm and sunny. However, there is a chance of scattered showers later in the week as a cold front approaches Wednesday into Thursday. Cooler temperatures are expected by Friday and into the weekend. There is currently no forecast for frost in the Tri-Cities area through next Friday. The normal high for this time of year in the Tri-Cities is 69 degrees, with a normal low of 43 degrees.
