Boeing Under Fire: Secretary of State Blinken’s Safe Journey in a Car, Raises Concerns over the Safety of their Jets

Blinken’s Boeing jet faces issues, grounds Secretary of State

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken had to travel by car between Paris and Brussels after encountering issues with a Boeing jet during his trip to Europe. This was not the first time Blinken has faced problems with a Boeing aircraft this year. In January, he returned home from Switzerland in a smaller jet after experiencing a critical failure due to an oxygen leak on the same model of plane. These incidents have brought attention to Boeing’s practices and raised concerns about the safety of their jets.

Boeing has been under scrutiny since an Alaska Airlines flight experienced a door plug detachment on a 737 Max, causing a hole in the side of the plane. Investigations have revealed that the jet left the Boeing factory without the necessary bolts to secure the door plug. Subsequent incidents on Boeing planes have further highlighted safety concerns and raised questions about the quality of their aircraft.

The attention on Boeing’s practices and the safety of their jets has intensified due to these recent incidents involving their planes. While some issues may be related to the age of the aircraft, the focus on Boeing’s safety measures has increased following these events.
