Denver Broncos Player Spotlight: No. 20 – Fullback Michael Burton

As the Broncos Wire continues their 90-man offseason roster series, the spotlight is on ninth-year fullback Michael Burton, who wears No. 20. Prior to joining the Broncos, Burton stood at 6-0 and weighed 247 pounds, making him a valuable asset on the field. He was drafted by the Detroit Lions in the fifth round out of Rutgers in 2015 and spent two seasons with the team before being waived in 2017.

After leaving Detroit, Burton played for the Chicago Bears for two years before briefly stinting with the New Orleans Saints in 2019. He then joined the Washington Commanders before returning to play for the Saints once again in 2020. In 2021 and 2022, he played for the Kansas City Chiefs, contributing to their Super Bowl LVII win. Known for his blocking abilities, Burton has also recorded rushing and receiving statistics throughout his career.
