On a Saturday morning, a driver of an Opel Corsa found himself in a helpless situation when his car accidentally fell into the sea on the Zadar waterfront. The incident took place on the wharf across from where the Zadar barcajols are stationed. According to reports, there was no one inside the car at the time of the incident and it was revealed that the driver had forgotten to engage the handbrake.
Despite efforts to rescue the vehicle, it ultimately met its demise in the sea. A video of the incident shows a man in a boat trying to approach the submerged car in an attempt to tow it away, but his efforts were unsuccessful.
