The 2024 Wujiang Climbing World Cup is set to be the 396th event in the history of the Federation, featuring both UIAA and IFSC competitions. It will also mark the 41st event organized in China and the ninth held in Wujiang.
The competition will include four medal events: women’s Lead, women’s Speed, men’s Lead, and men’s Speed. A total of 235 climbers from 37 countries and territories across four continents will compete in these events. Notable highlights include South Korea’s Kim Jain participating in her 100th Lead competition, making her the fourth most seasoned competitor on the all-time list. Polish speed climber Marcin Dzienski will also make his 63rd start in a Speed World Cup competition, showcasing his extensive experience in the discipline.
