Celebrating Diversity: Local Tattoo Shop Hosts 4/20 Event to Empower Women in Business

Local business owner leverages 4/20 to attract customers

In Salisbury, Maryland, a local business owner took advantage of the 4/20 holiday to attract customers to her shop. Cry Baby Tattoo, which has been in operation since November, hosted an event that drew a crowd of people looking to celebrate 4/20 at the unique gathering.

Peach, the owner of Cry Baby Tattoo, saw the large amount of foot traffic on the Plaza on a Saturday afternoon as the perfect opportunity to hold a 4/20 event. Customers were able to enter the shop, chat with Peach, and even get a new tattoo.

As a woman-owned and operated tattoo shop in the region, Cry Baby Tattoo is breaking new ground. Peach expressed her belief that it is empowering to see women supporting other women in business. She noted that there are not many women-owned businesses in the area, making Cry Baby Tattoo the first woman-owned and operated tattoo shop in the region. Hosting events like the 4/20 gathering allows Peach to connect with her community and foster relationships with customers.

The event was a success in bringing people together to celebrate and support a local woman-owned business. By opening her doors on this particular day, Peach was able to engage with customers, showcase her tattoo artistry, and build connections within the community.
