Disney+, Hulu, and Max: The Ultimate Streaming Bundle Package

New Streaming Bundle Package Revealed by Disney, Warner Bros. Discovery

Disney and Warner Bros. Discovery have announced a new streaming bundle service that will include Disney+, Hulu, and Max. The companies revealed the streaming bundle service in a press release on Wednesday, which mirrors traditional cable packages but with a modern digital twist.

By combining brands like ABC, FX, Food Network, Marvel, HGTV, and CNN, this bundle aims to provide subscribers with access to a diverse range of content all under one roof. Joe Earley, president of direct-to-consumer at Disney Entertainment, expressed excitement about the partnership and emphasized that subscribers will have access to blockbuster films, original content, and a vast library of entertainment options through this new bundle.

The streaming bundle will offer both ad-supported and ad-free plans when it launches later this summer. Disney already offers bundle packages for streamers such as the Disney Bundle Trio Basic plan that includes Disney+, Hulu and ESPN+ with ads for $14.99 per month. The pricing for the bundle will vary based on the plan viewers choose. Since acquiring a majority stake in Hulu in 2019, Disney has made efforts to integrate the streaming service into its broader entertainment portfolio eventually taking full control of Hulu in November 2023.

During an earnings report, Disney highlighted its streaming app’s performance projecting that Disney+ will turn a profit for the first time in the fourth quarter. Streaming losses have significantly decreased from $659 million to $18 million compared to the previous year showcasing the growing success of Disney’s streaming services
