Dodgeball Showdown: St. Joseph’s First Local Business Tournament Promises Thrills and Competition

In St. Joseph, next month will be held a Local Business Dodgeball Tournament, which promises to bring some fun and friendly competition. The inspiration for this event came from Rhonda Juell, the St. Joe Parks and Recreation Director, who attended a successful dodgeball tournament in Arizona and decided to try it in her own community.

She reached out to local businesses to gauge interest in participating and the tournament is now scheduled for May 29th at Kennedy Community School. It’s open to companies from outside the St. Joseph area as well. Interested teams must have a minimum of eight players, with Juell aiming for 16 teams in the inaugural tournament.

The registration fee is $20 per team and the winning team will receive a championship trophy. The deadline for registration is May 23rd, with more details and the option to sign up available through the provided link.

This event presents an excellent opportunity for businesses to come together, showcase their dodgeball skills and compete for the championship title. Whether you’re participating as a team or just looking to cheer them on, everyone is welcome to join in on the dodgeball fun in St. Joseph.
