Durable L’Jarius Sneed Emphasizes Good Health and Completes Successful Trade to Titans: Overcoming Injury Concerns

L’Jarius Sneed of the Titans claims ‘my knee is perfectly fine’ following $76 million contract extension

L’Jarius Sneed, the new $55 million cornerback of the Tennessee Titans, was introduced to the media during a news conference. Reporters asked about rumors that his knee had affected his trade market, but Sneed clarified that there was nothing wrong with it and he was in good health. He emphasized that he played the entire season without any issues and only experienced minor knee problems in the past.

Despite reports of a knee injury last season affecting his value, Sneed has been durable over the past few years for the Kansas City Chiefs. In 2020, he missed part of his rookie year with a broken collarbone, but since then he has only missed three games in three seasons. The Titans were confident in Sneed’s health and completed a successful trade for him, leading to a lucrative contract.

The Chiefs were unable to retain Sneed due to salary cap constraints after winning back-to-back Super Bowls. They granted him permission to seek a trade and one of his standout plays last season was a crucial forced fumble in the AFC championship game. Now, Sneed joins the Titans as they undergo changes in coaching staff with Brian Callahan taking over head coaching duties from Mike Vrabel.
