ECU Health Seeks Community Feedback for Better Health in Eastern North Carolina through CHNA Survey

ECU Health solicits input on needs assessment

ECU Health is currently seeking feedback from community members throughout eastern North Carolina to improve and promote good health in the region. The Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) is conducted every three years and is a crucial tool for understanding the most important health issues affecting their communities.

Community members age 15 and older are encouraged to complete the CHNA survey and provide meaningful feedback on how ECU Health can improve health and well-being in eastern North Carolina. The survey takes approximately 10 minutes to complete, and all responses are confidential.

By directly soliciting feedback from the community, ECU Health can better tailor efforts to promote wellness and address critical health challenges. Feedback gathered through the CHNA survey helps ensure that health care needs are being met in the 29 counties served by ECU Health. The survey is open for responses until June 7, 2024, giving community members an opportunity to provide valuable insights on their health concerns.

The CHNA process involves collecting and analyzing comprehensive data, including demographic, socioeconomic, and health-related statistics, with the most valuable insights coming directly from community members themselves.
