Former Jets Wide Receiver Corey Davis in Talks to Rejoin the Team: What This Means for New York’s Offense

Corey Davis in talks with Jets for potential reunion

The Jets are in talks with former wide receiver Corey Davis about the possibility of reuniting with the team. According to Robert Saleh, the Jets are regularly in contact with Davis and their door is always open to him. Sources report that the Jets are interested in bringing back Davis, who spent the first four years of his career with the Tennessee Titans before joining the Jets in 2021.

During his time in New York, Davis proved to be a valuable weapon in the offense, recording 66 receptions for 1,028 yards and six touchdowns. After taking a break from the NFL last August, Davis recently applied for reinstatement, allowing him to potentially make a return to the field. If he rejoins the Jets, Davis could continue to contribute positively to the team’s offense alongside Garrett Wilson and Mike Williams.
